yeah, but the game was cancelled due to the hurricane and not planned to be played. it was only late in the season when FSU realized they might be able to squeeze into a bowl that they got in touch with Louisiana Monroe and said they changed their mind and did want to try and reschedule. The game was played at the completion of the season against a weak opponent. Sort of like if UT had rescheduled their cancelled game against Stony Brook last season after the MAC was done and played them in early December.

Or a few years ago when Buffalo finished 5-6 because Kent State’s equipment truck couldn’t make it to Buffalo. That game got cancelled and never made up. Why do these games only get made up sometimes?
