RE: A Lot Of Positives To Take Away From The Game
One actual positive is that we know Jeremiah Martin can drive the lane and score because he did so last year toward the end of several games. And as 450bench brought up in an earlier thread, if he had done that in the first half, it would've put a lot of pressure on a short-handed Alabama team with all the foul trouble they already had.

Another is that we have enough bigs this year to actually have two in the game at the same time down low, and if our post players had received any entry passes, we could've put even more pressure on them.

Finally, I'm pretty sure our coach knows both of those things. Now, whether he gets them corrected will determine how many Alabama-type performances we'll get to watch this year. One was enough for me. I hope it was enough for the ones who can change it.

And if we have another 3-point shooter who goes from shooting 40% or better the year before to shooting in the teens when he gets here, I'm going to give some serious consideration to whoever it was that said there must be something in the water. Memphisike is right. We need somebody who can bust a 3.
