We had a CNU transfer on the men's football and basketball teams. Don't let the D3 classification fool you.

I watched the game. CNU is terrible. There is a ton more talent in Men's basketball, so it takes a lot more talent to play D1. By the time you drop down to D2 and then to D3 in Women's basketball, there's not much talent left. That's why you see such a huge drop off in the level of the the top 5 or so Women's teams and the next teams below them. There just aren't the numbers of women with both size and athleticism to fill the rosters.

Saying that, we knew this would be a tough year. Karen left the cupboard pretty bare. It does look like Nikki has done some good recruiting, but it still might take a couple of years to get back on track. The future does look bright, if we can survive this year. I sat through the Men's 5-25 year, I can make it through this.
