No, or at least the last 30+ years.

Not sure how anyone outside of athletics would know that. Partial qualifiers (which I think is now an “academic redshirt”) can practice but not play. So pretty much anyone who has redshirted as a freshmen could have been a partial qualifier.

I am pretty sure that Moseley was an academic redshirt. I thought it was something related to transcripts, but definitely vaguely remember hearing something about it back then.

The CAA had a rule that did not allow it. CUSA does not have that rule (thus Marshall), but Im pretty sure ODU also doesn't allow it.
