I get what you're saying, but I think there is a big difference in the level of talent from Dantonio's first team and coach Fickell's. Dantonio had an absolutely loaded senior class and still really struggled early before figuring it out. He also had probably the second best QB in UC history up to that point. The QB situation here is bad. The offensive line is bad as well. The receivers have left a ton of plays on the field that should have been made. I just don't find the situations that similar. I did not know what to expect this year, but to me it's pretty clear that the talent on offense is not where it needs to be...particularly on the offensive line and certainly at QB.

Would you believe his absolutely loaded senior class was rated #92... he did a great job of developing them. Let's hope Fickell does as well.
