I forgot to mention that in addition to being athletically superior to Larussa, he has actual on field experience too.

As for rotation, ODU hasn't faced a situation where no QB stood out and backup just got of the jet plane a few weeks ago.

As for Hoy moving up the depth chart, he is obviously showing the coaches more than Drayton Arnold right now and while Williams looks to be the future, he did not look ready to play in the last scrimmage against the #1s. He may very well be the starter down the road, but until BL loses the job it is his. As for experience, it was apparent that Larussa without the experience had better pocket presence Saturday.

BL has been practicing/scrimmaging/playing against FBS defenses for the past 2 years. Hoy has bounced around, but recently played a season in JUCO. I'm not sure why anyone would give credit to Hoy for "experience."

Gaining experience through an actual football season as opposed to wearing a red vest and play fake football??? As far as his FBS garbage time experience? Please lol

Playing against JUCO is lower than playing FCS. LaRussa also playing in competitive situations vs. Hampton and FIU (I believe them, the end of first half).

For all of Hoys experience, shouldn't he have looked better last Saturday then?
