I honestly don't think your hoops would be near the level now if you were splitting your resources with football. If you go to VCURamNation.com, most there do not want to even consider football. They point to ODU's path as detrimental to what they want to do. And ... I think I now mostly agree with them.

In addition, 1-AA would be first required. I suppose the Southland (or Big South) might be interested. But I now would not expect the Missouri Valley to warmly welcome the Shockers in for their gridiron league.


Two different conferences, there is mvc as basketball and then mvc football.
