The very first college-football game that I attended in person. A vivid life-experience.

President Carter (who never attended UGa) had precisely 19 days left in his Administration. I'm sure his thoughts were obsessed with the Iran-hostage crisis, but he was still in attendance that day to cheer for the Dawgs.
