My favorite hockey team won the Stanley Cup. That ate up a good part of my early summer and it was glorious! I was mostly drunk for at least four or five days afterwards.

My baseball team hasn't been so successful, but there are worse ways to spend a warm summer evening than sitting in PNC Park.

That and the typical vacation/projects/etc. and truthfully it has flown by.

I'm still ready for football to start but this is the good part of having your university located in a major league city. Honestly, it's pretty awesome as a fan! I'm sure the Pitt admins would prefer to be the big fish in town but that's really their problem.
