Your Cultural Revolution will have to go deep to erase everyone from American History who had involvement in prolonging/preserving slavery. So deep that American history would pretty much be unrecognizable.

But I suspect that is the actual intent.

At some point you have to allow history to be history. You are currently on a rage of destroying and censoring historical objects because they are not politically correct. Like some modern version of chiseling the bad pharaoh's face off of the obelisk. Its stupid and the future will hate you.
