It's interesting to note the value of the huge TV deals for the big conferences, then the next tier which includes NIU, then the enormous drop to the bottom two conferences.

It's frustrating to me when NIU fans continue to lament the ESPN deal for the MAC. It's a lifeline for the MAC - without it we are the Sun belt and there is no NIU or WMU playing in a major bowl game
