I think there's a credible argument that just making it to the Stanley Cup Finals constitutes a storybook ending. I get that this expansion draft was more advantageous than previous expansion drafts, but NOBODY expected anything NEAR this kind of performance. I have to admit I was pretty dismissive of the team and the city before the season began but I found myself rooting for them, even before the playoffs.

I wasn't sure about this last year when they announced, but after watching how the city embraced the GKs, I'm sure you're right. Vegas is a much better sports town than I imagined.





Still hate the Raiders and their fans though. That's not gonna change.
