I think Seattle has some solid additions but only three of their D1 transfers will get to play this season...
This season...
Richaud Gittens, 6'4, GR, Weber State transfer - 7.3 PPG, 4.3 RPG, 1.8 APG, (Rivals 3-Star)
Jordan Hill, 6'3, GR, Wisconsin transfer - 1.5 PPG, 1.1 RPG. 0.5 APG
Josh Hearlihy, 6'8, GR, Vermont transfer - 2.0 PPG, 1.4 RPG, 0.6 APG
Aaron Nettles, 6'0, FR, - 14.5 PPG
Next season...
Delante Jones, 6'5, JR, American U. transfer - 11.5 PPG, 3.4 RPG, 1.8 APG, (ESPN 3-Star)
Dashawn McDowell, 6'5, SO, SMU transfer - 1.4 PPG, 1.0 RPG, 0.5 APG, (Rivals 3-Star & Scout 3-Star)
Matt Owies, 6'0, SO, - Hawai'i transfer - 3.6 PPG, 0.9 RPG, 0.9 APG.
However the "biggest" addition to this season's Seattle team might be the return of Aaron Menzies.
So, you think Seattle U. out recruited NMSU?
As Coach pointed out, NMSU adds...
Shunn Buchanan, 6'0, SO - 12.7 PPG, 3.1 RPG, 5.3 APG
LaMarcus Lee, 6'2, SO - 15.6 PPG, 4.9 RPG, 2.5 APG
Gabe Hadley, 6'3, FR - 17.5 PPG, 4.9 PPG, 1.0 APG
Kortrijk Miles, 6'4, FR - 20.1 PPG, 9.8 RPG
Wayne Stewart, 6'6, JR - 18.3 PPG, 6.8 RPG, 1.3 APG (Top 50 JUCO)
Addtionally NMSU has the following coming off redshirt...
AJ Harris, 5'9, SO, Ohio State transfer - 2.8 PPG, 1.0 RPG, 1.7 APG, (ESPN 4-Star/Top 100, Rivals 4-Star/Top 150, Scout 4-Star/Top100)
Johnny McCants, 6'7, FR - 19.7 PPG, 12.2 RPG, 3.3 APG, (Rivals 3-Star)
Marlon Jones, 6'9, JR - 10.8 PPG, 5.5 RPG, (Rival 3-Star)
I think Hayford has improved Seattle's immediate prospects but it is obvious Jans has more long term talent.
Posted it but changed my mind about another argument with CA lol. But im talking about this years class, not last years like AJ Harris or who Dollar had left over.
Those are high school and JUCO stats, not college like Seattle U's. Im basing it mostly on McDowell, Gittens, and especially Jones. Wisconsin fans have said good things about Hill too. So yes, based on 2017 signees, id take SUs class of transfers over a bunch of JUCO guys
