RE: Troy endzone facility rendering/progress
We've officially derailed this thread again, so I'll join in. Kidd Brewer Stadium is at 3,333 feet. I live around 4000 feet around 18 minutes from campus and the peak of Grandfather mountain (just shy of 6,000 feet) is about 13 minutes or 8ish miles from me. We have an average HIGH temp of 77 in July/August. After a few years in the Middle East, and my time in the deepish south while stateside, that's a major factor in why we live here. As far as Sun Belt folks who might have experienced the area's mountains, ask Georgia Southern or Georgia State. Maybe this fall will bring some more Boone weather for the Sun Belt. Georgia State is the only team that has experienced the "is this really North Carolina?" factor since we've joined the FBS ranks. My hills are bigger than yours.
