I was visiting my parents at the time. Damn was OU pissed off about that PAC 12 snub afterward. The local scuttlebutt was that OU and OSU were gang to the PAC12.-and when it was announced that the PAC turned them down? Shock and Anger. OU felt so disrespected by that decision that I doubt it'll ever happen unless Larry Scott is gone and there's an apology!
Larry Scott was flying all the Midwest courting the Texas/Oklahoma schools. I guess he should have been given some guidelines as to what he could or could not promise. He looked a little silly.

If he was flying all over the "Midwest," then he would have missed visiting most of those schools!

I don't remember that part or know any of the Scott logistics...
