NIU Athletics Huskie Summer Circuit
NIU Athletics Huskie Summer Circuit
Quote:Registration is now open for the fourth Huskie Summer Circuit, which gives fans an opportunity to meet NIU head coaches and athletics administrators at four locations throughout northern Illinois.
The Huskie Summer Circuit will make four stops this year, beginning at Two Brothers Roundhouse in Aurora on Monday, June 5. The next night (Tuesday, June 6), the Huskies return to Franchesco’s in Rockford, the longest-running location on the Summer Circuit. The event continues the next two nights at new locations. On Wednesday, June 7, the tour stops at Carlucci Restaurant & Bar in Downers Grove in the western suburbs before heading north to Crystal Lake for the final stop at Crystal Lake Rib House on Thursday, June 8 (see below for addresses).
Register in advance to attend any of the four Huskie Summer Circuit events for just $10 or pay $20 at the door. Sign up at the link above, download and mail the PDF form on this page or call 815-753-0800 to register. Advance registration ends May 29, so reserve your spot today to attend a Summer Circuit stop. Current NIU students and 2016-2017 NIU graduates pay just $5 in advance AND at the door with an NIU OneCard. All current members (2016-2017 or 2017-2018) of the Kish Kids Pup Club are admitted free with advance registration.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. each night so fans can enjoy appetizers, a cash bar and raffle prizes, such as tickets to NIU sporting events and Huskie apparel. Hear from NIU Associate Vice President and Director of Athletics Sean T. Frazier and the head coaches from each of the Huskies’ 17 sports programs, including football’s Rod Carey, Mark Montgomery of men’s basketball, women’s basketball coach Lisa Carlsen and volleyball coach Ray Gooden. Get updated on the latest happenings in NIU Athletics, including the recently launched Campaign to Sustain.
The Campaign to Sustain will ensure that NIU Athletics can carry on the rich tradition established by previous generations of student-athletes, while lifting future Huskies to new heights and instilling NIU alumni and the entire campus community with pride. More information on the Campaign to Sustain, the most important athletics fundraising initiative in the last 10 years, is available at the link above.
Speak to Frazier or any NIU representative about becoming a part of the Campaign to Sustain and supporting Huskie student-athletes during any of the Summer Circuit events. Information on purchasing football and volleyball season tickets and becoming a donor of the Huskie Athletic Fund will also be available. In addition, look for an announcement soon on special single-game ticket offers available at the Huskie Summer Circuit stops.
