That is Sander Dining Hall (a dinning hall and a few classrooms. It is what is left of old Sander's Hall, or it's annex at least). It houses the African American Culture & Resource Center.

What's interesting is that on the current UC map online, the university just labels it "60 West Charlton" - perhaps it is on the docket to be removed. That makes a ton of sense since the new dining hall Center Court Dining opened up in 2007. The kids from Daniels and the Jefferson/Schneider complex can walk to the other dining hall. Sander's was gross when I was in school anyway, I can't imagine that it is any better now.

Of course, there is still the issue of the Armory Field House. That needs a serious renovation. I'm sure the Track & Field team would appreciate the love.

My dream is that the Armory would be turned into an ice hockey arena with a huge and generous gift of $100 million to transform the UC club team to a varsity team at Division 1. Pipe dreams, I know...

Unless it has been reopened or renovated since 2010...sander is not a dining hall. It's the crappiest building I ever took a class in.

Sander was no longer a dining hall when I enrolled in 2006. It housed the African American studies and CAT program's at the time.
