I don't think it has anything to do with UMKC. If UTRGV beat us then it would have been the same. The WAC likes the $$$ from NMSU fans. Too hard to resist. Missouri grad Commish knows the $$$. NMSU could have Chicago ST roster and would still make it to the championship.

The stats from last nights game show the story. 25 to 16 fouls. 33-19 fts. Early Bonus when down and can't make a shot. UMKC shot the ball 15 more times than NMSU. NMSU shot more 3 pointers and presses. Its highly unusual that that style of team shoots significantly more FT.
