The Center is kinda dated, so I don't see it as viable other than as a novelty or emergency venue. That said, if the Clippers ever want to come out the Lakers shadow, they should do as the Angels and Ducks did and establish themselves in the OC.

Clippers played a handful of games there over about 5 years in the 90s. Almost moved there but that was a choice between the (terrible) Sports Arena and the Pond (nee Honda Center). Think about that: he chose a horrific venue over a relatively new and shiny one, simply because it was in LA. And Arte Moreno is now pretending his team plays in Los Angeles because he believes it's value is greater when associated with Los Angeles.

As I stated above, moving out from the Lakers' shadow is a good move but there's basically no chance that a guy who paid $2B for the team is going to destroy the equity in his franchise by moving to Orange County.
