This. Right now this discussion is like determining who is the best mathematician in the world based on the result of a basic addition and subtraction test. This team is certainly among the best in recent history, but 12-0 may not be as good as some of the 12-2 teams like 2009 CMU or NIU. For instance the two teams CMU lost to in 2009, Arizona and BC both on the road (and Arizona after a 4 hour lightning delay) are both much better than any team WMU has played this season. CMU's signature win that season was against a 6-6 MSU team, which is similar to the win over NW. CMU also steamrolled the MAC that season, going undefeated every game a double digit win except for UB on the road.

That's just the 2009 CMU team, then you have the Marshall, Miami, BG teams of late 90's early 2000s as well. With WMU's schedule, at this point, it's not as simple as saying 12-0>a 1 or 2 loss season.
