I posted this where several Aubies reside, but I just wanted to copy and paste it here for you to see, too. Props to AU!

I didn't come here to talk about the game itself, although I will say I was just as surprised as you guys about some things. The Trojan D even far surpassed my expectations, but anyway.......

I just wanted to give you guys props on your game-day atmosphere, hospitality, stadium, etc. I am Ole Miss thru and thru since birth, but have had a second team since '98, the USC Trojans. So it was hard to root against another SEC team last night, but nonetheless I went to the game dressed in my Trojan attire.

That being said, the Auburn fans were completely and totally first rate, a-one classy fans. We talked at great length to many Aubies at a bar beforehand, in the parking lot tailgating, and of course at the game, and I have concluded that Auburn fans are right up there with the likes of Nebraska fans....extremely passionate about their team, unbelievably hospitable, and very knowledgable about most everything. Me, being from the South, I wasn't too surprised at the welcome we were shown, but my friends from the West Coast couldn't get over it. If you've ever been to a Pac 10 game out there, you'd know why it was such a different, yet much more pleasurable experience. Don't get me wrong, Pac 10 football is great, but it doesn't compare to the SEC, in this area.

I walked away only being disappointed about one thing, and that was the fact that I have never been to a game at Auburn before, until now. I have put off going to the Ole Miss-Auburn @ Auburn matchups all these years for whatever reasons, and can't believe I have passed up so many opportunities to enjoy a football game at one of the best places in the country to see one. Everything about it is awesome, especially the stadium. Unbelievable. I will not put off another chance to go back.

I especially admired your fans after the game. Even after a tough loss, the fans were just as nice if not nicer than before.

Anyway, enough of the butt-kissing. Seriously, though, I truly had a great time and was immensely impressed with every facet of the Auburn game-day experience. I've been to a lot of different venues and Auburn now ranks up there with the best of them.
I know I have had a couple run-ins with a couple AU posters in the past here, but I will certainly give credit where credit is due!
