How many throws can a qb put thru a tire swing.

Or something like the battle of the network stars

a tug of war between selected teams from each conference

relay races between selected conference teams

& an NFL strongest man competition and have winners in different weight classes.

put enough of these into an event; fans will watch and likelihood of injury is reduced greatly

The predecessor to Network Stars was Superstars, where they did this with top athletes from all sports. Was very popular in the early/mid 70s. I think this is a great idea - the pro bowl is by far the worst of the professional all star games. Totally unwatchable.
