I think that having schools committed to hoops at the level most of the C7, X, BU and CU are has created a solid platform on which to build. Keeping the name and MSG gives the conference ties to the history of the BE. The basketball has been fantastic. I believe tournament success will come. It is not the 16 team monster that at one time had 12 schools taking basketball seriously and was firmly planted in the basketball crazed northeast part of the country, but it is a very solid group that I believe will continue to improve over time. I like where things are trending.
