RE: Pat Narduzzi tweaks Penn State
I can't believe that is true about Franklin. That is insane behavior for a coach. I don't know if he's trying to be funny, or show that he's wild, but that comes off incredibly small time.

No offense to Pitt, but if I'm Penn State's coach, I'm (publicly) acting like they don't exist, not doing something so odd as that to validate them. Just bizarre.

I love Narduzzi's comment, the ACC could afford to be a bit more salty. If Narduzzi is the real deal, he may have a pretty good window of opportunity, for as good a recruiter as Franklin is, I don't think he has distinguished himself much as a coach. As "historic" as his "success" at Vandy was, his record was almost entirely built on beating terrible teams, and is largely smoke and mirrors. There's always the "but it's Vandy!" argument, and he certainly improved them, but I'm not so sure he's not over his head at Penn State.
