I didn't catch the name but UAB was mentioned in identifying the player.
The UAB transfer wound up being mentioned several times as he made plays that kept GA State competitive. I think his name is Bobby Baker(#2). On offense, a WR Nyiekki Height (#5) from UAB caught passes as well.

Charlotte is leading at the end of the first period of its first FBS game 13-0.

Charlotte won by 23-13

Game is on ESPNU (DirecTV CH 208)
