I saw this thread and found it very interesting. From my perspective, when Buffalo played at EMU, Hurley was on the officials right from the get go, I mean he was complaining while the players were warming up. During the game, he argued every single foul called against UB that I believe intimidated the refs. I'm certain the MAC refs felt in awe of Hurley due to his Duke fame. Needless to say, his strategy worked because Buffalo got most of the questionable calls. Maybe Hurley will not be able to intimate PAC 12 refs.

Rob Murphy very rarely gets emotional during the game which he feels is a good strategy to have fouls evened out by the end of the game.
