BYU is the same story. They've had great fan support and good teams for a LONG time. Yet have been passed over. And yes, it's directly related to the Mormon issue and specifically their list of demands for a conference to abide by.

It essentially boils down to UCF, Cincy, Memphis, and possibly ECU.

They're going to want a program with a "name" already attached, fan support, and TV market exposure.
