Their location is the only positive for me and I am one of the people in favor of moving to 12 for football as soon as we can. It just looks like time stood still 20 years ago for their athletic infrastructure. I don't mean to offend any EKU supporters but is their a plan and are their resources to upgrade quickly?

Also, I am of the opinon that market size is irrelevant when it comes to FBS success but can a program in 32K Richmond support a 4th Kentucky based football program? Louisville is doing well and WKU has had some success so maybe there just isn't a recruiting base to succeed in the SEC.

Maybe they can support a 4th KY football program. Troy, AL has a population of 18,033 and is located in the middle of the boondocks. They do pretty darn well. So, Richmond, you say has 32,000 and IMO, they could probably do as well.
