Yeah, it's unproven in that he has not done it before.

OTOH, I look at the roster CJH inherited and what he did with it, how the season developed. He made adjustments. I particularly liked the way he stepped away from his system when we lost several straight games in January and tailored the offense to the players he had. I don't recall XCMD doing this with any success... or basically at all.

I was also impressed that even when we had a short roster he was willing to boot our best penetrating and athletic player when he could/would not meet the standards asked of him.

We'll know a lot more this time next year. Till then it's fodder for silly season wrangling and debate.
