As was pointed out earlier this year, EVERY new first season coach in ANY sport faces playing that first season largely with the same players that got the former coach fired (if that was the reason he left). A school can fire its whole staff in any sport in just one day. It can replace that staff in just a few days. But NO college can fire the TEAM. It will have to be replaced over years, not weeks or months. That is the perspective fans must adopt when a new coach tries to win with largely the "old" players.
