It's not about Mullins. He does as he is told. This is an executive decision...and the executive is still gathering information to formulate a plan that wins. PTL ETSU has an ambitious president. From what I've seen, he will take ETSU to new heights none of us could imagine. I'm looking forward to it. I speculate there is work going on behind the scenes to set the stage to grow ETSU for the region. The best example is when he took a Tennessee hat off a fan and gave them a Buc hat. Soon you will see a new spirit. It takes time to pull this off. When it happens, I will be grateful for Noland's measured approach. He has been careful to please the power structure including Stanton who is well thought of by many people including legislators. Hang on tight...Noland is going to take ETSU on a wonderful ride. He is traveling everywhere working like a wild man to set the stage. He loves athletics...he wants ETSU to be a player. In time the plan will be revealed. Noland won't do it halfway...he's not satisfied with returning to the dome...Who knows, he may make Bristol Motor Speedway the Bucs home field filling it up 160-thousand Buc fans who then can tell Tennessee to pay if they want to play at BMS! That would make the shoe change to the other foot!

A key is changing the downward spiral...to get basketball attendance back to where it should be...sellouts. Oh how I wish the days of Robinson LeForce 10K plus would happen again forcing thinkers to expand their thoughts on capacity of a new arena. Go Bucs. The excitement will return. It will make the days of Buc fans taking over Asheville look small time. Hang on...this is going to be fun!
