I believe that it was the Supreme Court ruled that it was illegal to ban abortions, mush like they ruled that it was illegal to ban handguns in DC.

So taking abortion out of this, what exactly are these good, wholesome, harmless Christian values you are referring to that you want to counter with? Is like thinking someone should die because they do not have health insurance? That someone should starve to death because they cannot afford food?

This is a secular society that has freedom of religion. If you wish to move to a country that shares your values with a moral police feel free to move to Iran, or if the Taliban comes back you may find Afghanistan more appealing.
