Wake Forest is a FINE school. Beautiful campus. Great Academics.

But Winston-Salem is an absolute bore. I had Wake Forest as one of my top choices going into the summer after my junior year. Then I went to Boys State at Wake Forest and Governor's School in Salem College..and I just couldn't imagine myself staying in Winston Salem for 4 or 5 years. That's why I didn't even consider Duke (Durham = blah).

And contrary to popular belief...the women are fine. It doesn't hurt to have two all girl schools within a 5-mile radius! <img border="0" alt="[Cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/cheers.gif" />
