I'm  not a "Right Winger", I am a Libertarian. Should I walk lockstep with the LP? I don't think so. I also disagree with their anti-war stance.
So what you're saying is that you are only in favor of freedom and small government when it is personally convenient to you? In that case you should be a democrat or republican.
So you're saying you walk lock-step with a particular party? In that case YOU should be a Democrat or a Republican. Your assertion that killing animals in your own confines is a person's right and equating that to abortion is assinine. Should a parent also have the right to kill a 14 Y/O child if that child is stricken with Down Syndrome so long as he/she does it in their own confines? It's NOT the mother's body we're talking about, it's the child's. A fetus is cared for just as a 1 Y/O in the home is. If it is done by the "old" methods, the child still feeds from the mother's breast and still relies on it's mother for growth. I guess it should be able to abort a child up until the child doesn't need his/her mother's milk anymore, huh? Spare me the part about, "Well, the child has alternatives, store-bought formula, etc.", a child can live out of the womb way before it's 9 months is up. It's a growing child, face it. When it is in the womb it's no different than when it is being cared for as an infant.
