....and if your theory is correct(poverty and all), what happened to us after the 30's depression? Why did WE turn out the way WE did? You can't ascertain a damn thing. You are only offering your opinion and trying to pass it off as fact. I'm not buying it. They started WWI....and they started WWII. Hitler was only in power for the latter.

...and I also want to know your how you think the Treaty CAUSED WWII, when it was signed in 1919. You act as if we should have never signed a damn treaty. You can't blame the freaking treaty for the actions of a lunatic. Are you going to blame our freedom and the US Constitution for 9/11? ....'cause I can make a damn good relation as to why we were attacked, and it DOES have a TON to do with our way of life.

....sooooo, let's not place blame where it is due, let's blame something else. Kinda like it being McDonald's fault because some lard ****** gains another 40 Lbs.

The Treaty of Versailles was an embarrassment to the German people, and since Hitler openly defied the treaty he was able to gain their support.
......an embarassment? I don't suppose anymore than getting their asses handed to them by a country only 143 years old.

If they didn't want to be embarassed, the idiots shouldn't have started WWI and blamed it on an assassination in Serbia.

....and I am speaking as someone with Kaiser and Grusendorf in my paternal and maternal lineage.
Yeah, it was the German citizens who declared war in WW1... not the government.

The Treaty of Versailles put Germany under such economic sanctions they were willing to listen to ANYONE (even a lunatic) who would provide hope for the future.
