Typical Republican Rummy blather. The military professionals said a long time ago that we probably needed 200,000 troops in Iraq. General Shinseki was publicly ridiculed by Paul Wolfowitz who called his figures "wildly off the mark." This administration has demonstrated continuing contempt for the advice given to them by military professionals. While I will readily admit that I'm not a War College graduate nor have I commanded anything like a division, I have been in the military for over 18 years now and I tend to agree with the folks that have been doing it for 30 years and rose to the rank of General rather than agreeing with those folks like Wolfowitz who never spent a day in uniform but think they know better than the professionals.

Let me say this again. You could put up every single UAV in the world, including those that are currently operating in Afghanistan, and you wouldn't come close to covering Iraq. Do you really think we don't have UAV's operating in Iraq right now? If you do, you're even less well educated about the military than your post made it seem.
