A group of investors is planning to announce that it will found a Texas Collegiate Baseball League team in Denton on July 12.

The group is considering a partnership with North Texas to build a stadium for the summer team. UNT athletic director Rick Villarreal said building a stadium on school property could be the first step toward UNT reinstating its baseball program. UNT last fielded a team from 1984 to '88 before the program was disbanded.

UNT would use the proposed field during the school year while the TCBL team would play on it during the summer.

Can you imagine what Eagle Point will look like when recruits come in. Tennis complex under construction $2.6 million, , AC $ 6.4 almost complete, womens scoccer and softball stadium construction to start after Dec. and now a baseball stadium. ALL BRAND SPANKING NEW. A NEW STADIUM IS NEXT..
