We have lived through our share of down time the past few years - seems like decades! But only Marshall and Toledo (Toledo only one time)have won the conference since we last won it in 1996. IMO, the CARDS are ready to break back into the top (of the West).

QB shold be good. Receivers could be excellent. Running back, maybe the best in the MAC. Line should be pretty stong. TE - Fair. FB - Fair. Overall, the "O" should do well in 2002.

The lone real weakness in the "D" will be the line - small, maybe quick? LB's should be good. Ends shold be good. DB's should be good.

All of our toughest MAC games are on the road. BG, Toledo, Marshall - this group could give anybody in the country problems. Since all MAC games count, this could hurt our chances for the West title. I see us ending up at either 8-4 or 7-5, but a winning record is in the CARDS!
