LEXINGTON, Ky. --- Bobby Perry knew exactly what he was looking for and where he could find it all.

That's why the North Carolina standout decided to make it official and end his recruitment with an early verbal commitment to Kentucky. Perry, 6-foot-7, 215-pound small forward from Durham, N.C., informed a happy UK coach Tubby Smith of his decision late Sunday night after making a weekend visit to Lexington.

"It was a great visit," Perry said. "I got to see a lot of the campus and spend some time with coach Smith. Everything was perfect. I love the city of Lexington, the people there, the coaching staff and players, the academic program, so I just went ahead and told coach last night that I wanted to be a Wildcat."
