I'm proud of it, it's definitely a positive to the value of the degree I will attain at the UA.
I credit a lot of it to the Waltons and Wal-Mart though. They're really doing a total makeover of the Fayetteville metro area. After they gave $50 million to the Walton College of Business, and $300 million to the UA for our Campaign of the 21st Century (raising $900 million for endowment), they've also made it to where companies are putting corporate offices in the Fayetteville area, such as Proctor & Gamble, Coca-Cola, Gillette, Clorox, Unilever, Hasbro, Hershey, etc. (See the NY Times article in the Arkansas board for more info).
Anyways, have to give Georgia, Florida, and Vanderbilt props for having rankings equal or higher. Consider this too...the highest Big XII school was Texas at 81... Florida would've been #1 in that conference, and UGA and UA would've been #2 in the Big XII.
