But it’s critical to remain under martial law and not hold elections because they are fighting to save democracy after all.

lol---Maybe because the people of Ukraine actually understand if they get taken by Dictator Putin---they will NEVER have another real vote again. They have shown they know how to take to the streets and protest if they arent happy with their governance. If they really wanted Z out---he'd be out. My guess is when the war is over, Zelensky will announce his work is done and will retire from politics.
