And funny, I respond to smug asshats in much the same way that they project. If there isnt that self-realization there, I would suggest you live with it.

Oh yeah? Well, my smugness self-awareness puts the rest of you to shame. I'm the guy who admitted that the people I hang around with are ridiculously over-educated. I also use old-fashioned constructions such as "One could argue..." or "One might be tempted to conclude...", fully aware of (and precisely because of) their old-fashionedness. So there! :)
