Here's the thing. What material help could the Russians provide to trump that would require coordination with him? Let's say they were really "we want trump, let's flood social media"... They don't need to talk to him to do that.

We know multiple people within the Trump campaign reached out to Russia for assistance, we know that there were contacts between Wikileaks and the Trump campaign concerning strategy, and we know at least one meeting took place in which both Russian sanctions and assistance to the Trump Campaign were discussed. We also known virtually every high ranking member of the Trump campaign has lied about those contacts. That's just what WE know, and there's this weird habit of not publishing all the evidence federal investigators have during an active investigation.

And he's not going on a fishing expedition, so that line of defense is nonsense.

I stop reading when you use a weasel word. in this case, it was "assistance". on the upside, it was much deeper into your post than usual.
