Busy rewriting history are we?

2001 : Bush warns of Fannie Mea Freddie Mack
2003 : Whitehouse warns again
2003 : Bush pushed congress pushed for a new agency to control Fannie and Freedie
2003 : Barny Frank said "Fannie Mea and Freddie Mack" should be doing *MORE* to lend money to low income people to buy homes (in a market where housing prices were skyrocketing.
2005 : Greenspan says that fannie / freddie should not be increased in size. Failure to control them could nuke the economy.
2005 : Charles Schumer "Thinks they are doing an incredibly good job"
2006 : Democrats kill a bill by McCain which would have tried to control Fannie and Freedie
2007 : Housing market falls out

Good finds. I knew the Dems were against fixing the problems and that McCain had warned and had been shut down in 2006, but didn't know about all the rest.
