I had intended to move on from this particular subject, but then watching the white nationalists in DC yesterday doing Nazi salutes and saying "Hail Trump" got my attention.

Then this morning I found out about two friends of friends who were victims of hate incidents. One was a Jewish professor who is receiving threatening anti-semitic hate mail. The other, a gay couple who were victims of an attempted assault here in Austin. Thankfully the police were nearby to intervene.

There's also been an incident of "trump supporters" (don't know what that means in middle school) bullying a mixed race kid at my daughter's school. Several other AISD schools have had incidents as well.

And yes, I condemn any incidents in the other direction as well.

How bad does it get before we start to come together as a country?
