Agreed, so Silverfield needs to step it up and sign some guys that are good enough to get drafted. Fuente did it. Norvell did it. Did any Tiger players get drafted this year?

Wasn’t he one of Norvell recruits? Answer to your second question I think you know the answer but want to stir everyone up

I don't know and didn't keep up with the draft. I suspected there would have been a thread if any Tiger had been drafted and did not see one.

This better explains the back to back 6-6 seasons. The NFL just drafts talent. Sure they make mistakes but they are as meticulous in their study and prep as any group of organizations I have ever seen.

I would also add that what's hurting our players is that they aren't being put in the best position to succeed. I'm a big believer in maximizing strengths and minimizing weakness. Doing a poor to mediocre job in that area will make it harder for a player's talent to stand out.

probably a mixture of coaching and players. That should be last of Norvell players unless they have a covid year. Maybe Norvell didnt have that good of a class
Oh gosh, don't imply that!!! It has to be that they weren't coached up properly!! Seriously we certainly haven't seen the running back talent that we had back in the day. Maybe we will find some magic in this year's newcomers.

Not just coached up in improving their skills, but also being put in the best position to succeed like I mentioned above. My argument for awhile has been that our RBs and OL aren't being put in that position. And that our previous RBs would underperform in the current system.

Thanks Coach!

For years when I would hear one of my coaches say that I just assumed they wanted us get good contact on who we were blocking. Then I learned sometime after I was done with football that it wasn't quite like that. They might not have known either for all I know.
