I think STF and TH releasing that statement shows that they know changes need to be made with both the staff and scheme. STF is giving him a vote of confidence publicly I think can only help, but is also standing behind him if he fires a couple of the coaches. I’d rather have them say something instead of nothing at this point.
Good points. You mentioned Texas State, Dennis Robinson WR transferred there and had 3 catches for 13 yards this season. No PT last season. Grass is usually not greener.

Physically, that guy was a specimen. But he looked like he just learned the game yesterday.

He would be a massive loss.

He was blind with bad hands, terrible combo for a WR. LOL... Should have been converted to DE similar to what Miami (O) and Chicago Bear DE Dominque Robinson.

I'll be curious where he lands. He's been hit or miss most of his time at NIU but really improved as of late. I'd bet at the very least he provides depth at a P5. If Ryan Roberts could get a spot at FSU I don't think Cox will have any trouble finding a new team. He's been a great Huskie. Wish him well.

Not a surprise to see Cox enter the portal. Wish him well. Maybe he wasn't as hurt as we thought? I was under impression he had an MCL, but am probably wrong.

He's a smart guy and I'm guessing he graduated and is moving on to a grad program somewhere. He's always had a priority on education and moving on to another program makes sense for him especially if he can get some of it paid for on scholarship.
