Suspend all other thoughts, ignore how, forget what, the who... breathe.

Now imagine we win 10 games this year.

Let's play ball.

It is truly a great accomplishment. In a conference that is sometimes better than the Big12 and PAC12, we have won more games than any school in all 3 conferences.

This shows that Memphis has done all they can on the field to get into a better conference.

Yep---we could have went/GONE undefeated the last 10 years and still wouldn't have been #2 on everybodys list only behind Cincinnati

There is no doubt our program has come a long, long way and Tiger fans should be proud. We need to find a way to win at least 8 this year and begin to take advantage of all the recent great recruiting classes.

Many of you forget. The AAC has been consistently better from top to bottom than both the big 12 and PAC for the better part of the past 5-7 years and even arguably the 3rd best league. Pretty awesome seeing these tiers broken down like this.

I was about to say "where the hell is Cincy???" until I noticed they are there, just didn't back-light the "C-paw" logo. Kinda rude by the producer. I'm pretty surprised that we are in the first tier of non-playoff teams. I thought we would be second or third. Particularly after last year's fiasco.

RE: CFB Tier List
And yet: Kansas, Vandy, Rutgers, Illinois, Purdue, Colorado, Arizona, Arkansas, TexTech, GATech, Nebraska, South Carolina, Duke, TN, Mizoo, Wake Forrest, North Carolina, Boston College, Iowa St, and UCLA (most of whom have losing records over that 8 yr period) continue to rake in the big TV money! Why? Because too many people believe it when the talking heads say only certain teams are worthy of competing for a National Championship.

There were years when teams from every conference in BCS would have won games in a tournament of conference champions. It is cheaper to pay a few teams a whole lot of money than to pay all teams a fair amount of money. So the talking heads advertising saves the networks big bucks. This is what has become the American way. I believe America can do better. Unfortunately I have no way to prove that belief. More unfortunately very many Americans believe that should be the American way.
