Let's get real. Going forward/attitudes/public perception about the LB
I fully admit I am throwing a tantrum. I am a little child in a way. In another way, I am a parent. A parent of a 20-something over whom I no longer have control. I see my child making a heart-breaking financial mistake, and I am powerless to do anything about it. So what do you do when you can't do anything about it? I guess you reluctantly get behind it. It's either that, or you cut ties. I'm not cutting ties with my kids, and at this point I'm not cutting ties with my University. Not yet, anyway.
So what remains is...
Turning that frown upside-down. 10 years from now I and 3 or 4 others may be telling you all "I told ya so", but until then, I think we need to not show the chinks in the armor. I, for one, will cease and desist with the criticisms. One thing we don't need is sic-em365 "and the like" reporting that "their own fanbase is in an uproar over this reno plan." United front and all that. It will either work, or it won't. Us biching about it will do more harm than good.

Not one of those sic em guys have ever set foot in the Liberty Bowl or spent more than an hour in Memphis.
The University has to get busy now to hope to get into any next round of expansion and you saw what Veach said, $200 million for Liberty Bowl vs $400 million for on campus, IF that was even possible.
They have contacted all of the donors, corporate and boosters and that is what was settled. So, if the Tigers make it to the Big XII they will begin receiving a nice slice of the pie and maybe in 10 years they can/will build something on campus.
I look at this like being in The Pyramid for 10 years before moving on to the FedEx Forum.

.....
That is both true, and irrelevant at the same time. They are one of the more popular BigXII YouTubers out there. They are actually on sportstalk radio in Waco TX every day in addition to their YouTube channel. They have gravitas with BigXII fans and school officials.

Well, that's great and all... but what we NEED to know is, if we get into the BigXII, what will you do to celebrate? And it better involve a tricycle and the "woo-hoo" girls...
