Marshall is doing something awesome and giving fans choice in their new field turf design. Please go to the link below and pick your choice. The main difference is endzone color. The choices seem to be Black, Gray, and Green.

It's by far the best option. The Gray is a non starter. Marshall NEVER uses grey in anything. The Green option is basically what we have now and the green endzones and logo faded so quickly that it looked bad after the first couple of seasons.

Black is the way to go. It just makes everything pop so much better. I would reverse the green white. Id do a kelly green "MARSHALL" with a thick white outline in a black end zone.

Remember about a decade ago when the NCAA said we couldn't wear our Green on Green unis because they blended in with the field, but Ok'd Boise's blue field?

The ugliest field in the country is EMU's grey field... It actually hurts my eyes to look at it.

The white Marshall with the green outline in the endzone looks blurry (optical illusion). The opposite endzone looks good.

The green "MARSHALL" looks BAD ASS!!!!!!!!!

I emailed Spears earlier all 4 of the designs posted in the other thread.




I also addressed tv camera position/height, angle and lighting.
I sent TV game pictures of our games vs others as examples.

Hopefully he gets back.

The green Marshall one with black end-zones is my favorite. I do love the state outline, but I can live without it if we get a design that pops like that.
